We love to worship at FSBCA, and music is a great way for us to express our love to an awesome God.  We want our music to glorify God, so we work hard to choose music that is both musically excellent and Biblically sound.  We encourage those with musical or technical talents to contact Mary Kaye Wonner, our worship leader, to learn how to get involved

 

Worship-Leading Choir:  If you have a passion for worship, and a desire to use your gifts for God, then our Worship-Leading Choir is for you!  We lead the church in authentic, dynamic praise, with a constant goal of encountering God’s presence in worship. We rehearse on Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.  Sunday Morning worship preparation is our main priority, but we also enjoy working on excellent high energy seasonal presentations including Christmas, Easter, and Patriotic Days.

 

Vocal and Instrumental Praise Teams:  If you are a member of our Worship-Leading Choir, have a passion for worshipping, and have an ability to sing harmony or play a musical instrument, then we invite you to audition for our Praise Team.  We have a vocal and instrumental team of piano, keyboard, guitars, bass, and drums, and we are always looking to add additional instruments to the team.  We rehearse each Wednesday at 6:00 pm. 

 

Preschool & Children’s Choir:  Both choirs rehearse on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm. Children in 1st thru 6th grade learn to appreciate music and how it can effect their lives as they learn to worship God.  They lead in worship several times a year and are part of our annual Christmas presentation. Our Preschool Choir is for children ages three through Kindergarten.  This choir has the the privilege of singing several times a year and are part of our Christmas presentation.

 

Youth Choir & Youth Praise Team:  We believe in the importance of training future leaders, and this is very evident in our youth choir and youth praise team. They are incredible worship leaders with a passion for our Lord and a desire to use their gifts for God’s glory.  Youth choir rehearses on Sundays at 5:00 pm and our Youth Praise Team rehearses on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm.
