Estrella Bible Institute

 

To answer the need for advanced Bible Study for members and to train future leaders, we have entered into a partnership with Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary to offer quality training.  We opened with two classes and 12 students in the fall of 2006. 

 

The seminary provides structure and a plan for excellent classes.  We recruit students, enlist qualified faculty, and offer courses leading to a Diploma in Christian Ministries.

 

Diploma in Christian Ministries.

 

 We offer a Diploma in Christian Ministries.  The training is college-level and taught by professors with masters or doctor degrees.  A Diploma in Christian Ministries is granted upon completion of eight 3-hour classes:  Old Testament Survey; New Testament Survey; Ministry Foundations; Baptist History and Polity; Christian Theology; Communicating the Gospel; Missions, Evangelism and Church Planting; and an elective.

New students need to go online to complete the application process.  Go to this site: www.ggbts.edu/cld/english/admissionForm.aspx   Complete all areas of application and use this information:

 

Type in for CLD Center: Estrella Bible Institute (Avondale).

For Diploma Program: Christian Ministries.

You need a digitall photo of yourself.  (If you don't have one, we can help).

 

Once the completed application has been submitted you will get an email to confirm it was you submitting.  Be sure to respond to this by downloading the Ethical Conduct Form for you to fill out and turn into the registrar.  Also download the Church Endorsement Form to give to your Pastor to complete.   (We will endorse members of FSBCA or EFBC.)  You will need to turn in the $25 application fee. 

 

Continuing students can contact us to enroll in a new class. The forms are available online or in the offices of the First Southern Baptist Church, 1001 N. Central Avenue, Avondale, AZ, 85323.

Costs  

 

There is a $25 one-time application fee.  Each class costs $200.  Textbooks vary by semester and class.
