Discipleship Classes

Discipleship classes are taught on Sundays from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Our winter quarter begins January 13 and goes through March 1t.  Here are the class choices.

Genesis Reloaded: Led by Walt Ongley. Bldg. A West. Hidden in Genesis are the origins of much of our daily experiences. It addresses deceit, brokenness, betrayal, and banishment. Beginning with man’s creation in God's image and moving through brotherly betrayal and finally to Joseph’s journey, Genesis is a timeless story.

Beth Moore, David. Led by Mary Kaye Wonner, Bldg. C. As our Women’s ministry grows, we have offered an opportunity to have a class focusing on women's issues. It is an awesome time of sharing and studying.

Revelation: Led by Al Ritz, MAC 5. Revelation is the crowning symbolism in the Scriptures. It brings together many symbols and is different from other Bible books. This has caused some people to shy away from the book and conclude that it's too mysterious to understand. But it was actually written to make things clearer!

Lasting Legacy: Led by Ralph Castaneda, Bldg. D. You are where you are today because somebody cared about you to to build a friendship with you, introduce you to Jesus, and assist you. You’ll learn to do the same for others and apply what you learn in practical projects.

Learning to Face Life's Issues: Led by Henry Fergus, MAC 4. This workshop will take an in-depth look at issues in life that can become overwhelming and give helpful hints and ideas on how to build a stronger relationship with God, find support, and face your giants head on.

Study of the Book of Job: Led by Wayne King, Bldg. A East. Why do the righteous suffer? This is the question raised when Job lost his family, his wealth, and his health. He ultimately questions God Himself and learns valuable lessons about his need to totally trust in the Lord.

Youth Discipleship: Led By Kyle Epps. Building B.
